First of all, congratulations to the Saints. We love you Reggie Bush (no forreal, we LOVE you REGGIE BUSH). But enough about the game...Let's get to our favorite part.......THE COMMERCIALS!

We pick our three favs this year, and here they are in no particular order.

The first one listed parallel's one of our favorite movies so what's not to love? We have an animal out of its natural habitat...and we have three men during their bachelor party weekend...Gotta love it! It's almost like a deleted scene directly from The Hangover! (Did y'all peep how this commercial really had nothing to do with what they are advertising? This ish did not scream TIRES)

Leave percolating to black people

Check this out! When the Ebony found a percolator video of a drunk girl, it sparked interest. So, we did a little youtube search and found a few of our favorites. Since the percolator is an old OLD dance for black people, this dance craze will probably be sweeping across white America in 5...4...3...2...

Things Black People Love #2

Why is it every time I want to have a function, I set the time an hour (sometimes 2 hours) before I want things to jump off? Well, I have one easy answer for you. The answer is...

Black people like to be late.

I have heard many people say, "But if we get there on time, no one will be there," or some will say, "It won't be fun until about 2-3 hours after it starts." Black people, oh black people. We have got to get out of this mindset.

Black people frequently show up to various events 30-45 minutes late for no real reason at all. While lots of black people have heard the phrase, "To be early is to be on time, to be on time is to be late, and to be late is unacceptable," how many of them actually apply this to their lives? I know I will see how much I can get away with being late until it becomes noticeable or "problematic".

When Star Wars comes out, what do white people do? They camp in front of the movie theater in tents and sleeping bags so they can be the first to see it. Black people, have you EVER done this for a movie? I did not think so. The only black man in line was probably the bootleg man. Do black people stand in the mall waiting for the new iPod to come out? No, they do not do that either. Generally because when things first come out, they are not on sale. And let's just be real. Every likes a good sale!

To gain full acceptance from black people, white people still have the option to show up early and on time but they cannot be late with their black colleagues. For extra credit, inform your new black friends of what they missed while they were not there. But as a rule of thumb is to never complain about things/people not being on time or you may quickly get put in your place with quick responses to the effect of "no one asked you to come early."

Black people, if you would like to gain full acceptance of your professors or superiors, follow the lead of your white colleagues and show up inexplicably early to class or work. Do so in the beginning so that you will be seen as a person who wants to achieve...and wants to do it before everyone else. Additionally, you may want to disapprove of the habitually late people who sneak in because well, it's just not your style.

#1: Things Blacks Love…..

We love White Slapstick Comedies. Y’all know what I am talking about, “Juno”, “Superbad”, “Knocked Up”, etc. Nothing makes us laugh more. We love them so much; we have even been known to quote them on a regular basic. Act like you have not ever secretly wished your name was McLovin. Ya feel me?!!

Don’t get it twisted, we would never be caught dead going to the movies to see it though, even though we want to more than anything. We sit and wait and wait and wait til that ish gets to the RedBox. We might even add it to the dvd collection. But it’s not until you overhear someone else talking about the movie that you chime in . And then proceed to act out your favorite part verbatim and relive the joy all over again.

To this day I can be having a conversation with my friends about effing google or something and you wanna know what they say to me?!! “I googled murder.” It is because of these movies that we cannot even hold serious conversations anymore.

But if you ever find yourself trapped in a room full of white people and don’t know what to talk about, these movies make great conversation starters. Now don’t try this in a professional setting, not because they are not familiar with the movies because believe me they are. But because they are gonna act like they don’t watch them in front of certain people. But if you find yourself surrounded by a group of white college students and they are all staring at you, look around and say, “I am McLovin” and see don’t they make you their one black friend. Unlike blacks who consider movies to be old and outdated, whites consider movies they like to be classics. So this advice will be good for at least the next ten years.
