Controlling Air Traffic: A Job So Easy... Children Can Do It

LITERALLY! Okay so this dude Glenn Duffy, AKA Duffy the Dummy, a license controller at JFK Airport, one of the BUSIEST airports in America, thought it was a good idea to bring his child to work. Sounds harmless right? That would have been fine and dandy but he then let the boy give instructions to the pilots AND DIRECT AIR TRAFFIC! Let's say it together... WTF?!!

There is said to be video of this incident on tape and the young boy has been quoted as saying, "Jet Blue 171, clear for takeoff" to awaiting pilots. The father can be heard saying, "This is what you get, guys, when the kids are out of school." The pilots were reportedly amused but I bet the passengers wouldn't have been if they knew!

And IF that wasn't bad what does Duffy the Dummy go and do the next day? Bring his daughter to work of course. Can't have the daughter getting jealous, right? While he was worried about what to do with his kids on their off, he now has to figure what to do with himself on HIS days off because him AND his supervisor has been suspended pending an investigation.
