Thinking about seeing "Just Wright"? Well I say go for it. Though at times the movie is completely predictable, you can't help but to continue to watch. The premise of the movie is this:
Leslie Wright (Queen Latifah) is a physical training and huge fan of the New Jersey Nets. Scott McKnight (Common) is the star point guard for the Nets. McKnight gets hurt and everyone gives up on him, including his fiancee' Morgan Alexander (Paula Patton), who is also good friends with Wright. Everyone accept Leslie Wright that is.
Common had a certain charm in this movie. I fell in love with him twice in the first half alone. And though at first it was awkward watch Queen Latifah in the love interest role, by the end of the movie you are rooting for her. She represents the everyday girl who is just looking to find someone they can be themselves with. You can't help but love the characters and this movie. Also in the movie is Phylicia Rashad, as Scott McKnight's mom and Pam Grier, as Leslie Wright's mom. And with cameo's by Dwayne Wade and Dwight Howard.
I say go see it, especially if you are looking for a fun, carefree movie! If not, wait for it to come out on DVD.
