Tennessee State University's SGA is COMPLETELY off the chain. It all began when our former SGA president, Jennifer C. Williams, got removed from office because she did not qualify due to the number of hours she was taking. Secondly, the vice president, Danny Glover, did not meet the GPA requirement. So, in retaliation, Ms. Williams has made it her personal quest to see to it that every branch of SGA follows their rules to the tee. And for what? So 2 wrongs can make a right?
The Student Election Commission was forced to let a few of their members go and the House of Delegates are being questioned about their number of delegates.
The Student Union Board of Governors have had to let 50% of their membership go. Williams is making each organization follow their constitution explicitly yet the constitution cannot govern us in a case of our government being overthrown. Is does not advise us because this has never happened. SUBG's president has been removed from office and all newly initiated individuals were removed excluding the ones on the e-board. However, in following ALL the rules, Dean Myles ignored the rule that to qualify for membership, that members must have a 2.5 grade point average. I sincerely love SUBG but I am getting too old for this. They had my blood pressure up today and I am considering wiping my hands clean of the entire organization due to the disarray.

The SGA deserves everything it gets. Last year I applied for a graduate representative position and was the only one who applied. Ironically, some unknown name got on the ballot and I was not elected. Karma was a bitch and a half in this situation. Also its obvious that there is poor oversignt by the apathetic, imcompetent administrators over SGA. . .
